Norwegian ministry stipulates hospitals gain accredited certification to ISO 14001

In Norway, the Ministry of Health & Care Services has introduced a range of measures to strengthen the public health system. One of these requirements is for the establishment of environmental management systems and subsequent certification of the management system according to ISO 14001 standard by the end of 2014 for all hospitals.
